Czech communists on relevancy of the October Revolution today

A theoretical-political conference was held in Prague on May 13th under the title “The World 100 Years after the Great October Socialist Revolution – What and How Is To Be Done”. The meeting was organized by several local organizations of the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia (KSČM), the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia (KSČ) and the Communist Youth Union (KSM).

On May 13th, several local organizations of the Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia (KSČM), the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia (KSČ) and the Communist Youth Union (KSM) co-organized a theoretical-political conference in Prague with the title “The World 100 Years after the Great October Socialist Revolution – What and How Is To Be Done”.

 

 

The main presentation was done by comrade Vera Klontza with a deep analysis of the current situation of the world and communist movement, and the relevancy of the heritage of the October Revolution for today. She highlighted the necessity to renew the Marxist and Leninist analysis of contemporary demands as well as the historical duty of communists to overcome capitalism in a revolutionary way and build a socialist society. In many following speeches the impacts of imperialism and capitalism as well as the necessity of new socialism were shown.
