The 4th summer camp of the Collectives of Communist Youth (CJC) was held between 10-13 August in Zaragoza under the slogan, “1917-2017: To study, learn and struggle”. Among various seminars and activities about the working class and youth struggles, the centenary of the October Revolution has been the most emphasised subject throughout the camp.
On the 11th of August, Raúl Martínez, member of the central committee of the Communist Party of the Peoples of Spain (PCPE), took the floor in order to underline the dialectical and internationalist character of the class struggle. While defining the preparation of the subjective conditions as a fundamental task for a communist party, comrade Martínez asserted that communists must be able to conceive the history with its all triumphs and complications as a whole. After the presentation, Martínez received many questions posed by the CJC militants about the Soviet experience and history of the Spanish Civil War.
On the same day was organised the international event about the impacts of the October Revolution in Greece, Italy, and Turkey. Comrades from the Communist Youth of Greece (KNE), Front of the Communist Youth (FGC) from Italy, and Communist Youth of Turkey (TKG) made detailed presentations about the topic and answered the curious questions of comrades from the CJC about the current struggles in their countries.
